Don't go out too fast
I was excited during my 50 mile race the "American River 50 Mile Endurance Run." I went out too fast though and by mile 26 I was exhausted and threw up. I did finish the race and got a good time but take it slow to start, especially if you're new to ultras!

Tips for an elderly man
I am an overweight, old man who doesn't exercise much. Is there any hope that I can complete one of these races?
